soft and strong

I once thought I might be a parent,
with a child or two to hold, kiss, grow....
Time keeps moving and now, years later, a child
has arrived in my life, already as tall as I.
Soft and strong.

Happy Birthday again L, am glad you like the presents.

You gave many gifts to many people in your life. This might be the gift of life coming to you at last.

Accept it as a reward!

Sorry for sending the same comment several times and deleting it once! This is the first time i ever leave a comment on a blog and was not sure it was sent alright.

As for your stories, it is not about finding myself in one certain story, the whole book speaks to us, expatriates, one way or another. We'll all leave HK one day and your book will always be a nice souvenir from you and from the city.

yes, i want the stories to speak, and this place will always be a home. i will never leave.
